Classical asymmetric algorithms (RSA-2048, ECC-256, Diffie-Hellman) will be broken by Cryptographically Relevant Quantum Computers (CRQCs) using Shor's algorithm. Migration is urgent today because adversaries are executing "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" (HNDL) attacks — intercepting and archiving encrypted enterprise network traffic today to decrypt it retroactively once quantum hardware matures (projected 2029–2033). If your data requires a secrecy horizon beyond 5 years, it is vulnerable today.
nSolved™ Protect employs a dual-encapsulation hybrid mechanism combining NIST-standardized ML-KEM (FIPS 203) with classical X25519 elliptic-curve Diffie-Hellman. This guarantees dual-layer security: an adversary must compromise both the classical elliptic curve problem and the post-quantum module-lattice problem to compromise session keys.
